Marble Headstone & Gravestone Memorials
Marble is a very traditional memorial material that has been used for centuries – and for good reason. Marble exhibits beautiful swirls and vein-like patterns all across its surface that give it real character – it’s also one of the softest natural stones, which makes it extremely workable, something our stonemasons certainly appreciate.
Marble is made from limestone, a type of sedimentary rock composed of calcium carbonate. While many people only know marble in its purest form, which is an off-white or grey colour, marble actually occurs in all kinds of colours, including yellow, pink, dark grey and blue.
Marble Craftsmanship Since 1894
Here at Memorial Group, we’ve been creating Christian memorials and Jewish memorials with marble for over a century, so our stonemasons have really come to understand its unique properties and create stunning memorials that stand the test of time.
Also, if you already have a marble gravestone that’s commemorating a loved one but is a little worse for wear, we can offer a headstone cleaning and renovation service, so you can make sure that the tribute endures.
